I try my best to be mindful of my environmental impact when making purchases, so that's why I love these skincare brands that put their products in sustainable packaging!
I'm definitely more of a newbie when it comes to skincare, but I love it. The process used to feel like such a chore, but now it feels so good to take care of my skin. Not only does my skin look and feel better when I take care of it, but having a skincare routine (no matter how simple) is like a therapeutic little mini spa session!
I try my best to be purposeful and mindful of my environmental impact when making any purchases, including those related to skincare and beauty. That's why I'm constantly on the lookout for new products with sustainable packaging so I can reduce my impact and help support these brands that are doing good for the planet!
Like I mentioned before, I'm still a bit of a newbie when it comes to skincare, so I haven't tried every brand mentioned on this list quite yet, but after discovering these skincare brands with sustainable packaging, I cannot WAIT to share them with you and try them out myself!

YTTP is a brand I have used personally, and it's one that I can say with complete confidence and honesty that I'm obsessed with. Every one of their products comes in glass containers (which are gorgeous, btw) as opposed to plastic and all of their products are 100% vegan which I love, too. One of my favorite things about YTTP is that they offer a refill bottle of their Superfood Cleanser, which is double the size and comes without the plastic pump so you don't have to keep buying more bottles with the plastic pump unnecessarily!

Upcircle has upped the sustainable packaging game. Nearly every aspect of their product packaging can be recycled, from the cardboard packages and glass bottles to the aluminum lids and aluminum tubes! For products that come with plastic caps or plastic droppers (like for a serum), Upcircle offers plastic-free refill options for repeat orders (similar to YTTP) so you can refill the bottle you already have without needing to waste an extra dropper!
The Peppermint Coffee Scrub looks absolutely dreamy and I think it would also make a wonderful Christmas gift or stocking stuffer! I also love that Upcircle offers accessories like bamboo muslin cloths and reusable hemp makeup pads. Oh, and can't forget about the tube squeezer! Perfect for squeezing every last drop out of those scrub or moisturizer tubes.

I couldn't possibly write this list without mentioning one of my all-time favorites - Lush! Lush has a lot of products ranging from hair care to skincare to even makeup, many of which are 'naked,' meaning they don't come in any packaging at all! (For example, the bath bombs and many of the serums are naked). The freshness and brightness of the products, as well as the invigorating scents, is what keeps me coming back to Lush. They're just so addicting!
Personally, I'm a sucker for the fresh face masks, which you can get for FREE by the way just for returning five clean Lush pots back to the store. I also love their cleansers and scrubs - Herbalism and Ocean Salt are a few of my faves. Next on my list to try is the Beauty Sleep face mask! And if you're shopping for a gift, check out their knot-wraps - a sustainable (and not to mention beautiful) way to wrap up your Lush goodies!

Biossance is a brand that I'm super stoked to try out. Everything about their products just seems so clean and fresh. While their products are packaged in plastic bottles, the bottles are recyclable and all of the orders are shipped carbon neutral! For every order, the company plants trees and funds deforestation projects to offset the impact of shipping.
They have a ton of sets and kits that make great gifts or are perfect for getting a well-rounded introduction to the brand! I'm personally super intrigued by the Illuminate Overnight Set (I mean, doesn't that sound so luxurious?!) and the Squalane + Rose Vegan Lip Balm which seems especially perfect for blustery winter days!

Herbivore's products are undeniably beautiful - between their geometric glass bottles and (naturally) colorful elixirs. What I love about Herbivore is that all of their products "have an emphasis on organic, high quality, and food-grade ingredients," and they don't use any unnecessary fillers meaning their products are super concentrated and effective.
They have tons of serums and facial oils to choose from, each for a different skin type or concern - I mean, who doesn't love a little personalization?! They also have different scented beard serums and a Post Shave Elixir if the men in your life need a little pampering!

I have yet to try Korean skincare, but I think Glow Recipe is gonna be my introduction to it. First off, every single component of their packaging is recyclable and they have extremely helpful infographics showing you how and where to recycle each individual element on their website. I love this because sometimes I recycle things that I'm not 100% certain are recyclable, but with Glow Recipe I can know for sure!
I'm obsessed with the fact that each of their products is based around a superfruit, each of which has its own particular skincare benefits. Honestly, I wouldn't even know where to begin with picking out Glow Recipe products to try (they all look dreamy), but the Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask or Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser sound like wonderful places to start!
